Enabling faster contract completion

A leading producer of travel media and events, Northstar Travel Media wanted to implement technology that could edited northstar logoimprove sales productivity and customer service by eliminating manual and duplicated processes. Using Adobe EchoSign with Salesforce.com helped the company reduce administrative work by 40 hours per month, as well as speeding up the contracting cycle.

“Since implementing Adobe EchoSign, 70% of media purchase contracts are returned within one day, and of those, one-third are returned in less than an hour,” says Cynthia Wittig, technical product specialist at Northstar Travel Media.

IRS Approves Electronic Signature for Key Payroll Form

Based on Publication 1474 published by the IRS on January 4, 2014, it is now legal for any Intuit® payroll customer to sign Form 8655 electronically, thereby eliminating the need to print the form, sign using a pen and then fax back to Intuit.

Publication 1474 allows any reporting agent collecting Form 8655 to do so using electronic signature. The decision to allow the electronic signature was based on the IRS’ experience in working with Intuit and several other payroll providers on individual electronic signature pilot tests. Electronic signature is an easy-to-use functionality which simplifies the process of getting a document signed by guiding the user through a step-by-step process of completing and signing the document. The electronic signatures process is provided in partnership with Adobe EchoSign .

“This was a very long journey for Intuit that began more than four years ago when we first experimented with electronic signature for Intuit Assisted Payroll,” said Matt Gotchy, senior product manager for Intuit Full Service Payroll. “Today, I am ecstatic to report that we now have an electronic signature success rate of 91% – our highest rate ever. In Full Service Payroll, we’ve found that customers who electronically sign their legal documents reach first billing 28% more often.”

“We are very excited to see our collaboration with Intuit for enabling electronic signatures for Reporting Agent Forms achieving a significant milestone and getting approved by the IRS,” said Mangesh Bhandarkar, Director of Product Management for Adobe EchoSign. “Through the simplicity of the EchoSign electronic signature process and working closely with Intuit to streamline the user experience we were able to reduce errors, attain high completion rates and therefore achieve Intuit’s goals for implementing an e-signature solution. Setting new standards

The Council on Accreditation (COA) independently certifies that international child-and-family and behavioral health service organizations meet standards of excellence. To improve its own operational standards, COA has implemented Adobe EchoSign and achieved tremendous results.

“Adobe EchoSign improved our efficiency so that agreements are processed and returned 33% faster than the required 30-day turnaround,” says Tim Stockert, director of IT. “Not only are we accrediting organizations faster, but we’re growing the number of accreditation decisions we make every year.”

Takeout and Delivery Orders Made Faster with JUST EAT

By automating its contract and document signing process, JUST EAT has doubled the speed with which it connects new delivery restaurants with hungry web surfers. Using Adobe EchoSign for Salesforce, contract completion has been cut from six days to three days with e-signatures. And new customers are on a JUST EAT website the next day.

Using the dashboard tool in Salesforce, JUST EAT was able to monitor adoption and success of the solution, and learned that by streamlining the process they eliminated contract admin time and freed up their sales staff to engage with more restaurants.

“We have integrated Adobe EchoSign with our Salesforce CRM and Conga Merge. With one click, completed contracts are emailed simultaneously to the client, and sales administrators, who can start the process of listing the restaurant before the JUST EAT sales representative even returns to the office,” says Diogo Coutinho, international product manager. “We are exceeding our turnaround time for bringing on new restaurants.”
