Workaround for Illustrator file open and import issue in Fireworks CS6

Some of the Fireworks CS6 users are facing compatibility issues with Illustrator on Windows 7 platform.Opening or importing Illustrator files would throw Internal error.Issue seems to be due to incompatiblity with the Apple quick time application  present in the machine.As a workaround for this issue , users can uninstall and reinstall Apple Quick time application  and then import or open Illustrator files in Fireworks CS6.

MAX: Summary of Fireworks sessions, labs and gatherings

MAX 2009 is just around the corner, so I wanted to give you an update to list all of the opportunities to find Fireworks at MAX. I hope you’ll look us up and introduce yourself, and meet some of the members of the Fireworks community.
If you are still thinking about whether to attend MAX, there is still time to sign up. It’s going to be a very exciting event you don’t want to miss!
Meet the Teams sessions on Monday evening from 8:00-10:00pm. Meet several people from the Adobe Fireworks and Dreamweaver product teams. Room 503.

Hello fellow fireworkers! -

The Fireworks team would like to know what articles and tutorials YOU would find useful located on the Fireworks Developer/Design Center. Please let us know and we’ll do the best we can to get that article or tutorial developed. Same goes for the Downloads and Samples area too and don’t forget you can submit your sample (Only non-flattened PNGs are accepted) to the Fireworks Developer Center!

Quite often we are asked where to find resources and tutorials for the Fireworks public beta. While performing some keyword searches in google prove helpful, we do have a wiki on Adobe Labs that lists current demonstrations by Adobe employees and passionate Fireworks users. Have fun!

David Hogue of Fluid Talks Prototyping
