Flash Player 10 and Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)

The initial release of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) includes an earlier version of Adobe Flash Player than what is available from Adobe.com. We recommend all users update to the latest, most secure version of Flash Player (10.0.32.18) — which supports Snow Leopard and is available for download from http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer.

after updating to 10.0.32.18 in Snow Leopard, all of my applications previously using LocalConnection objects fail to work.
I develop in cs3 so my swf applications are compiled for flash player 9. Am i to assume full backwards compatibility was not achieved in this release, seeing as how i can’t set the option of Localconnection.isPerUser in my development environment?

I believe this security release to be very buggy in OSX. works fine in windows, so far as i can tell.

I am still running Mac 10.5.8 but firefox is crashing on pages that contain flash content, for examplel http://www.nytimes.com. I confirmed I am using Flash 10.0.32.18. If I turn off this add-on, then the browser does not crash, very simple.

So my question is, where can I find an early version of Flash to try? Thanks.

I dont agree with changing flash player out of anyones will, only because its giving myself and many other people problems downloading it. If your going to change something, make it changable because this is absolutely rediculous -.-

I would like a fix to Get Info. Whenever I get info for the first time on anything, it hangs for a VERY long time before opening. Happens after each reboot or logout.

Why is this such an important news? Shouldn´t flash update itself or atleast remind you that an update is available? Or is it an win OS thing only? Jump higher | Energy

You definitely have to upgrade to the newest version of flash player for this to work good. I ran into this issue when i did not upgrade.
