Today we posted a very minor update for the Adobe AIR 2.5.1 runtime that addresses a known issue related to interacting with a system’s camera on Mac systems. This is a desktop only release for the Mac; Windows and Linux users will not be impacted by this issue and will therefore not be prompted to update.
The build number for the Mac update is AIR 2.5.1.17750. We recommend that users update to the latest version of Adobe AIR.

I am tired of each time I start adobe that I need the air update.
I don’t need the air update and I don’t want the air update.

Will there be any support for video capture locally for desktop anytime soon. I find it unbelievable that this is supported for Android devices but not for desktop computers.

@Ken – Who cares if you have to update??? It’s once or twice a year and its only if the app sets the minimum version number to require it.

I have never once been able to successfully update air. Every time I try, it fails, and I need to manually remove files before it will reinstall. For this reason, I only update after the programs I use require air to be updated.
