Today we are excited to announce the availability of the Adobe AIR 3 beta and the Adobe Flash Player 11 beta for desktop platforms on Adobe Labs. AIR and Flash Player continue to drive innovation for rich, engaging digital experiences with new features for cross-device standalone application development and expressive rich internet applications, games, and videos in the browser. Some of the features from the Flash Player Incubator, such as Stage 3D and 64-bit support, have been moved into this beta release.
For more infos bout the features we are introducing, refer to Emmy Huang’s blog post.
We are also announcing today, that we are migrating to the Adobe Bugbase for bugs, issues for the Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR. We had in the past different platforms for both products. For consistency we are now having both products on the same bugbase platform. You guys don’t need to worry, JIRA doesn’t close and will remain viewable for a few months but all valid bugs/requests are being moved to the new Bugbase platform.
Please, help us spread the news, to file a bug for Adobe AIR, please use the Adobe Bugbase system.
