Flex Camp on Wall Street

Flex Camp is heading to Wall Street. From their site: “Flex Camp Wall Street is a unique event that will provide practical tips, technques and actionable advise for adoption of Flex and AIR based RIA within banks, brokerages, fund management companies, insurance firms and other financial services institutions.”

Flex Camp Wall Street is scheduled for April 18th, 2008, and will run from 9 – 5 (no banking hours for this event!).

It is being hosted at the NYC Seminar and Conference Center, 71 West 23rd Street in New York City. As with all things in New York City, its expensive to rent conference space, so they’ve added a charge of $99 to help cover expenses for the event.

The speakers for the event are a who’s who in the Flex world – some of the best presenters that you’ll ever get to hear. Christophe Coenraets and James Ward from Adobe will be there, along with Yakov Fain (author of Rich Internet Applications with Adobe Flex and Java: Secrets of the Masters) Michael Labriola (author or Adobe Flex 2: Training from the Source), Mike Nimer (from Digital Primates), Shashank Tiwari (Chief Technologist at Saven Technologies) and Victor Rasputnis (Managing Principal of Farata Systems).

Registration for the event is now open. This one’s going to sell our quickly.

This is the 13th Flex Camp that has been hosted worldwide – previous events have been hosted in San Francisco, Vancouver, Romania, Milan, Toronto, Singapore, Boston, Chicago, Omaha, Lisbon, Washington and Oklahoma City (March 13th, 2008).
