AE Tutorial: Watching football make me think
Am I the only one who when he is watching TV is trying to figure out how things are done that makes them look compelling? There was a time when I longed for the commercials to be over. Now, I get as much enjoyment out of them as I do the programs themselves.
Perhaps its some sick Adobe gene inside me that wants to figure out stuff for you, or perhaps point out how easy some of these looks are. Anyway, I’m watching the game’s commercials and I see a beer commercial (surprise!) and it’s using a simple tracking effect for a text layer and I’m like, "Okay, I’ll make a mock beer commercial." But, being a New Yorker, I have to give the Giants some serious props for their victory on Sunday, so here you go.
Here’s the the key area on how to track the text, it’s so simple, I don’t feel the need to write the whole thing up. Simply use the Animate wing menu beneath your text layer to animate the Tracking parameter on Adobe After Effects. Add a little sound track from Soundbooth and voila – instant broadcast looks.
If you’re looking for that particular font, it is "Cracked" and you can get it at DaFont
Congratulations to the NY Giants on some spectacular play off performances.

hey you are not allone:)
I am waching more commercials now than actual films and tv shovs. How crazy is that?:P
