Hi Dennis,

Love your tutorials - I have watched all of them! I found andrew Kramers site from your tutorials and between you and him - I am starting to get much more comfortable in After Effects.

Quick question:

My wife and I just found out she is pregnant and I am making a little video for our anniversary. I would like to have a photo of us where her tummy slowly grows over 5-10 seconds... I thought the skin displacement tutorial would be a good one to follow - but I see to wind up with a giant growing circle instead of seeing the displacement on her entire tummy. The photo is pretty much a straight on shot of the two of us at Disneyland...

Any suggestions on a tutorial that I should re-watch and use the principles of for this?

Thanks for any help!

Ted

[DR - Hey Ted, thanks for the kind words and congrats on your upcoming arrival. Children are definitely a blessing! Your request is a bit of a tough one, but I do have two quick suggestions for you. One would be to use the new DigiEffects plugin included with After Effects CS5 called Freeform. It's a 2.5D mesh deformation tool that should help account for the 3D (or Z-Axis) problems that you're probably experiencing. The other idea is to use the old liquify tool in After Effects. I've used it before on something similar. Good luck and let me know how you do.]
