Hi Gee - thanks for your comment.

We at Adobe highly recognize the value of professional translation services and use them for all our software products and marketing materials. We would love to be able to provide professional translations for every one of our blog articles, but unfortunately that's not possible yet. Machine-translation is an alternative that allows us to provide instantaneous translations in a large number of languages. In some cases, we post-edit these translations with the help of native speakers from our team and from the community.

Hi Matan - You are right. What you suggested is exactly what we did to fix the problem.
Cheers,

Great overview of how DPS helps streamline and integrate multi-lingual content production workflows. Thank you for pointing-out that accurate language conversion still requires the skills of professional (human) translators. However I find it slightly ironic that versions of this article in other languages have been created using machine-based translation tools.

Nice post! Point #8 regarding the "flickering", isn't this cause by text fields not sitting on "perfect" pixels? So instead of flattening your text layer, you should rather make sure that the x;y coordinates are integers. If that fails, well, I guess flattening will do the trick, but it's worth noting that the "source" text layer should be kept as guide layer for future modifications.

Hope that makes sense!
