Easy Guide to Audition 2
On of our engineers spotted the new Focal Easy Guide to Adobe Audition 2.0 in the wild. It's another that I haven't seen yet, but its emphasis on step-by-step guides seems like it would be very handy and Focal's previous books have been well received. I checked around and it seems like it's available at the usual suspects, plus Focal Press books generally end up in most bookstores that have a good technical section.

Hi Hart,
I have a film client whose show was originally posted on Audition. What's the best way to convert to Mac-based ProTools ver. 7.3?

Even if we were planning on a Mac version, we have a very strict policy about not talking about unannounced software, so I wouldn't be able to tell you anything.
Sinisa, the best way to move your tracks to an arbitrary other platform is to use the File->Export options to export each track as its own audio file. That way it will be easy to line the files back up in the other software.

Hi Hart:
I just viewed the Audition program for the first time when I went to do a voice over. Looks like a program I would love to play with, however it seems to only be for the windows platform. Any possibility it might make the MAC jump? Is there an Adobe product you would recommend in its place?
Thanks

Hi Hart,
I've stumbled across your blog when I've tried to find a neat way to continue working on my .ses files (recorded in Cooledit) on my Powerbook with MacOSX.
So far no solution :(
Do you have any suggestions how to "port" whole session with multiple track into GarageBand or some other audio app on Mac?
Thank You for your time and answer in advance.
Sinisa.
