Soundbooth Beta 2 Article

Peter Kirn over at createdigitalmusic.com has posted his summary and comments on Soundbooth Beta 2. One of Peter’s comments is:

“Here’s my impassioned plea to Adobe: please allow us to get Soundbooth unbundled from CS…”

I’ve heard this from a couple other folks, and I can confirm that we plan on making Soundbooth available as a standalone product as well as part of the suite.

    Thanks, Hart. I’ll resist the temptation to take credit for the decision, then, now that you’ve let the cat out of the bag. ;) This clearly fills a niche for people, though: my commentary was dugg yesterday, much to my surprise. Seems a visual approach to editing, in particular, is of interest to users. (Hey, I thought so, the first time I tried Eric Wenger’s MetaSynth years ago!)

    Just code Audition for the Mac please. Soundbooth is rather lame.
