Soundbooth Training now Live

I just got word that the Soundbooth training on Lynda.com has gone live as of today. The training is done by the same Bruce Williams who performed the Audition training, and while I haven't seen all of the Soundbooth movies I'm guessing they're the same high-quality training I've come to expect from Lynda.com trainers. If you're looking for some more how-tos than what come with Soundbooth then it's definitely worth considering.

I want to write a file filter/plug-in for opening/closing a file for a format not supported by default by Audition.

I found some sample file format filters and I went through the code and got some sense of the APIs that need to be implemented for writing the file filters.

But I was wondering where I can find a good documentation of the file filter APIs? Does Adobe provide such documentation? If yes, how can I get it?

Moreover, Do I need any special SDK for building the new file filter or it can be build in the standard Visual Studio.

I believe all you need is on the Audition dev site. There is contact info there as well if you have more questions than the documentation provides. --Hart http://www.adobe.com/devnet/audition/

Speaking of more how-tos re Soundbooth - when will we be able to make our own AutoCompose files? I love their flexibility but as a composer, want to do it with my own created music. I have loved Soundbooth since the beta stage (even if I hate the CS3 Adobe installation nightmare).

Our plan is to put together the instructions and have them out in the next month or two--stay tuned! --Hart

Please tell us there is word on a new version of Audition!?!?!?!

All we've said publicly (and all I can say) is we'll have more to say about Audition before the end of the year. Stay tuned! --Hart
