Adobe Audition 3 Now Shipping!
We're pleased to announce that Adobe Audition 3 is now shipping. We really think this is a killer release with something (or many somethings) for everyone, from old hands to newcomers alike. The information about the release is up at the main Audition page or you can go directly to the “what's new” page. We also have the trial version posted. It's fully functional for 30 days so you can dig into the product and really see for yourself whether it's what you need.
Now if you'll excuse me, there's a party this afternoon I need to get ready for! :)

I would like you (Adobe) to be the first one to announce the first serious OSX audio editor. ;-) Thats my request.
I am a long time Cool Edit Pro user and I have recently switched to Mac. But I came to the horrible conclusion that there is no CEP or Audition available for this platform. Simply put, there is no serious audio editor for Mac. period. Audition and Wavelab are Windows-only.
Kind regards and a happy 2008

No, whatever you do, don't waste energy that could and should be spent on improving AA3.0 on porting it to a Mac. If you really think that you must port it somewhere, then Linux would be better, but preferrably don't port it at all.

Missing ISO Image is still a grump - but otherwise, looks and feels fine. Congratultions.

I admire adobe long time, and I'll trial each product.

I downloaded the trial until I place my order. While it still feels a lot like Audition 2.0, despite it's support for Windows Vista Aero, I'm sure the new features will be lovely down the road.
I must say though, I am a bit disappointed that there is STILL no ability to export or save an ISO of a CD List. That's a hint for CS3.1.
