Adobe, iPhone

Adobe, iPhone: I haven't heard anything new from Apple or Adobe myself, but Bill Snyder of TheStreet.com raises a sound point: Adobe imaging technology will certainly be used on any mobile device, because of the prevalence of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and the like. Adobe runtime engines may or may not be on any particular device, but each device will certainly be contact in at least some part of the total Adobe production workflow. Apple's mobile move provides additional guaranteed benefits: it raises the appreciation that "experience matters", and entices other manufacturers to use richer media and interactions, and also convinces the North American computer-owners that mobile is an important and accessible area. Lots of wins here, regardless of how the details eventually play out.
