Fireworks slicing hang
Fireworks slicing hang: In the Fireworks newsgroup there was discussion about a failure in Fireworks MX 2004 when moving objects after slicing them... this will end up in the Fireworks Emerging Issues technote or its own technote before the code gets changed to avoid that, but that's not why I'm blogging it here. Check this particular post... the writer gives a recipe that others can follow to see the problem too. Murray says "yes I see it" and Linda says "no I don't see it", which leads to the key observation that moving a slice only fails on the Mac. Too many newsgroup posts are vague and say "hey i crashed did anybody else crash"... this person posting as "specimen" actually got down to and said "Can you do these four steps on your machine?", which is a lot more functional and communicative.
