Longhorn graphics

Longhorn graphics: Dave Salvator writes at ExtremeTech of a presentation at a Windows game conference last week, particularly on David Blythe's segment on current understandings of the Windows Graphics Foundation in the latter part of this decade. (The article is refactored more compactly at eWeek.) Sneak peeks are useful as an indication of general direction, and not all features may make it through all stages of implementation, but it's a good snapshot of how computers may look in a few years.
