Elfster

Elfster: There's lots of ideas left for web applications -- this site, for instance, helps in "Secret Santa" deals, where you pull names out of a hat to buy a gift for one. You don't have to all get together and find a hat, for instance. You can also ask questions without ruining the secret, and can also post wishlists for ideas. The application was apparently developed by a group for their own use, then released to the general public. [via PCWorld blogs]
