Bessie banned?
Bessie banned? Off-topic, but strange... can you find the lyrics to Bessie Smith's "Kitchen Man" anywhere on the net anymore? Most of the repositories now say these have been "removed at the artist's request", despite the fact that Bessie Smith left this mortal plane sixty-nine years ago. This material seems like it should be in the public domain by now...?
