MS helps us
MS helps us: I think Dave Wolf of Cynergy has an important post here, about how Microsoft's recent embrace of "experience matters" helps to legitimize the value of our ideas across a much larger market. There's no longer as much resistance to richer experiences and smarter architectures, now that Microsoft has bought in, too. Dave Carabetta reinforces this viewpoint. I had a similar takeaway when I attended Microsoft's 2006 webtech event. During the past week a lot of us have been investigating Microsoft's announcements, and where I end up is pretty much the same place Dave & Dave do -- resistance to the RIA approach has faded, and now we just have to execute correctly.
