MAX computer problems
MAX computer problems: If you're in the Sunday training sessions, then one symptom can be a magenta desktop which replaces the MAX desktop, making your work inaccessible. To fix, click the MAX2007 Session icon in the taskbar. That should do the trick. But if that doesn't work, go to Start Menu, to the VMWare option, and choose the correct sesion. But if the system is still in an uncertain state after that, then a system restart will fix it. Internet connectivity should be available on all machines, although I saw one which failed -- webmail works, email apps don't. USB drives can be enabled via the top console panel: choose VM, Remote Devices, USB, then your device. The organizers request that classroom materials not be redistributed; your instructor should have information on how to retrieve those files for personal use after the session.
