I hope you will join me next week at Imaging USA in San Antonio Texas! I have two presentations: Lightroom 3 – Secrets of the Develop Module and Photoshop CS5 – Refining Your Personal Style. Details below. Giddy-up.

Monday January 17th, 2011     9:00 – 10:30 am

LR3 Secrets of the Develop Module – Julieanne Kost will unveil the secrets to creating the highest quality images possible by harnessing the power within the Develop module in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3. You’ll master the tools needed to enhance, refine and add creative effects to your images (using both global and local nondestructive image adjustments), add stylistic effects, convert to black and white, and enhance and/or subdue local color and tone for mood. Then, discover how to expedite the finishing process with custom presets to quickly apply these effects to multiple photographs, preparing your images for final delivery directly from within Lightroom or through the seamless integration with Adobe Photoshop 5.

Tuesday January 18th, 2011 7:30 – 9:00 am

Photoshop CS5 Refining Your Personal Style – There are many ways to add your own personal style and enhance your photography after the shoot. For instance, join Julieanne Kost, Digital Imaging Evangelist for Adobe Systems, and discover some subtle techniques in Adobe Photoshop CS5 that will help make your images express your own personal vision. You’ll discover creative methods for converting images to black and white, colorizing and adding edges, overlays, textures and special effects that show your personal touch. In addition, you’ll learn how to sequence multiple images and composite photographs together to create a single photograph, wherein the sum is greater than the individual parts.

You did an awesome job as always!! I had a blast and learned a few new tips and tricks. It is always fun to watch you teach, I love your humor. I had talked to you afterwards about getting information on Bridge/ACR features vs Lightroom for a meetup that we have coming up at the Adobe User group in Houston, TX. You said you might have a video or slides on the topic. I was unable to find it on the blog or Adobe TV, any help I appreciate.

    Hello Julieanne!
I visited your Adobe Tour session in Stockholm yestarday and had a great time and learned a lot – even if i didn’t catch everything 🙂
Now that i found your blogg I see i can learn a lot here too.
But I remember you showed a schedule of black and white transforms in diffrent layers and layerstyles. I liked that very much och wonder if I can find it here? It would be very usefull for me.
    Best regards
