The interpolation method that is used in Free Transform, the Crop Tool and Place Command can be set in the Preferences > General > Image Interpolation menu.
So in your opion what is the best interpolation setting for reducing the size of large DSLR files? I have always been under the impression that “Bi-cubic Sharper” would give the best results.
