To toggle the conversion to Black and White tap the “V” key in either the Library or Develop Module. To apply an Auto black and white conversion adjustment to images, select Preferences and check the “Apply auto mix when first converting to black and white”  option.

That would be great if it actually did that.. but it doesn’t. when you go to an image that has supposedly had the auto mix applied, it hasn’t. it has the settings from the first image copied across all of them. This bug has been there for several versions now. Still there in version 3.5

Just like the import files… that doesn’t import all files..

Hi Harry, You’re right, copying and pasting specific setting from one image to another does paste those specific numeric settings that you copied (lightroom doesn’t know how you got to those setting, so it grabs the current values that you have applied and pastes them). Have you tried creating a preset to convert to B/W so that you could apply the auto mix? Or, you could simply select all of the images you want to covert in the gride view and tap the “V” key, or in the Develop Module you could make your selection and then turn on Auto sync and tap “V”. Hopefully one of these options will work better for you.

Hopefully all of them will work when the bugs are fixed.
