In the Edit Metadata Presets dialog, a blank metadata field with a “check” in the right-hand column will overwrite (eliminate) existing data in that field when the metadata preset is applied. I find this feature useful when I need to remove all of the metadata that I have previously applied to images so that I can start a demonstration with a “clean” set of photographs.

    Hi Julieanne,
I realise my ask is nothing to do with Metadata but I am at a loss where to turn so I go to our Angel. I attended your seminars in Australia. I have installed Lion and all hell has broken loose. Word has disappeared, When I click Print settings in Photoshop the program quits. I have installed Java to no avail. I am driving a Macbook with OS10.7 and CS5, all the local gurus are stumped and I get no reply from Adobe , Zinio or NAPP. Can you please advise a way out of this problem as I am out of business.
