Hi Julianne,
is there also a quick way to reset all develop settings to the “as imported” status – especially in LR4, where you may want to reset images to their LR3 state. Doing this manually on an image by image basis in the history panel can be a tedious job even for a couple of dozen images.
How do you do it gor a group of photos not just the selected one?

You can use this shortcut in the Library Module with multiple images selected in Grid view. In the Develop Module, you can turn on Auto Sync, then use the shortcut (or click Reset). Just don’t forget to turn off Auto Sync when you’re done.
