While traveling in Mexico, I was overwhelmed with the incredible color palette of the region. So, when the group of (ridiculously talented) photographers that I was traveling with were given the challenge to submit an image to “best represent Cabo San Lucas and the surrounding region”, I decided that I’d better do something really different if I had any chance of winning the contest! Instead of realistically representing the location, I focused on the colors, movement and spirit of the people – creating a blanket of the “Colors of Mexico”.
If you have time and want to check out the other submissions, click here and vote for the image that you like the most. Certainly I don’t expect to win – although I do think “Colors of Mexico” would look fantastic printed 12 feet wide behind the registration counter)! : )

You are right Bojan, I should have said to “like” the image instead!
It is liked, off course and repined.
I love it! I have been trying to choose a photograph from our travels that I could use as a large wall piece in our living room. This is a great idea.
Great collage…looks like a lot of beautiful scenes were run through a paper shedder and pieced back together. Whatever it is…very magical. Mexico is full of color and shapes. The light in Baja California is also very special. Looks like a great trip!
