If you have questions about updating/upgrading to Photoshop CC, this blog post by Jeff Tranberry is an excellent resource.

Will there be new version after the cc or witl there be updates to the cc? will I still be installing plugins every year or can the plugs go right into the proper place each time a new cc version is out.

I was considering upgrading from Lightroom 4 to 5. However, in a training video it looked as if I would no longer be able to make changes in LR 5 and then add more edits in my existing Photoshop 5 via LR 5. It appears to only allow me to go to the CC versions of Photoshop. Is that true?

That is not true. You can edit your images in Lightroom 5 and then choose Edit In to have LR render the file (with the changes) and open it in whatever version of PS you have.

I am wanting to go from CS 4 to CS 6 and wondering if that is possible and if so- I am wanting to buy the upgrade. Am I still able to do this? I can’t afford the $20 per month for the rest of my career for photoshop at this point. What are my options?

$20/mo is an introductory price for one year only. Try more than 2.5 times that.
