In this video tutorial (Organize Your Images), you’ll learn how to organize your images in Lightroom using the Folder panel so that finding, moving and editing your images is a breeze.

Found this post just the day after I spent some time trying to make folders and move images as described. The video inspired me (THANKS!) to go back and realize that my only mistake was not placing my cursor on top of the images to drag them. I was trying to drag the grey frames.

I can’t activate your video on: organizing images in Lightroom 3. or 5! I have done in the past.
    Please help. Anne

      Try with another browser?

    Hi Julieanne,

I’ve got a question about external drives display in the folder tree. For some reason, when I add a folder on an external drive, I get a new “Volumes” folder, and then the drive appears as a folder under the “Volumes” folder. So, instead of having a quick view of which drives are connected, I get a bunch of “missing images” question marks on the folders when the drives disconnect.

I don’t get the extra collapsable bar (Under Macintosh HD) as in your video. This happens on several drives every time I’ve tested it!

    Any advice?
