In Photoshop CC, adding  a Rectangle, Rounded Rectangle and/or Ellipse Shape layer (using the Shape tools) displays the Properties panel making it easier to access the Live Shape Properties. To stop this this auto-reveal behavior, in Photoshop CC (v14.1), from the Properties panel’s fly-out menu, uncheck “Show on Shape Creation”. Note: you must have a Shape layer with Live Shape Properties to access this fly-out menu. 45PropPanel1

    Hi Julieanne.

I have an issue with the new feature. I see the live shape properties after the creation of shape. But when I try later edit I see only Masks in Properties panel and there is no live shape properties. Is that normal?

You should still see the live shape properties when you select the shape with the Path Selection tool. If that’s not the case, first I would make sure that you have updated PS (Help > Check for updates, or use the Creative Cloud Desktop app to check for the 14.1 update for PS). Second, the shape needs to be selected with the Path Selection tool. If you simply select the layer in the layers panel without selecting the path, you will not see the Live Shape Properties. I hope that helps. If not,
