I use these shortcuts all the time, but what I’d love to see in a future release is a shortcut assigned to common crop sizes. I’m often cropping my dSLR images from their original 2 x 3 proportions to make 8 x 10s, so would love to be able to get direct to that rather than have to use the drop down menu after using R to get into the crop tool.

Thanks for all the great tutorials, and for Lightroom CC which is an awesome step up from LR 5.

While not exactly what you want, you can create a tool preset to do this (but you still have to click to get a drop down menu). Perhaps you can create actions for the crop aspect ratios that you want, then make sure that you toggle the dialog option on if you want to be able to change the crop for every image (by clicking the empty well to the left of the Crop command in the action), and assign a keyboard shortcut to that action. Or, you could put the actions in button mode so that you can simply click a button to crop.
