Context Sensitive Menus in Photoshop CC

Adobe Photoshop

Another way to increase your productivity in Photoshop is to learn to take advantage of the “context sensitive” menus. Control -click (Mac) | Right -click(Win) in the image area (or on a panel etc.) to display relevant “context-sensitive” menu items. The menus change depending on the tool selected and the area clicked on. For example, when the Move tool is selected, Control -clicking (Mac) | Right -clicking (Win) in the document area displays context sensitive menus which list any  layers under the area in the documents that was clicked upon (making it easy to select layers).

When the Brush tool is selected, the context sensitive menus display brush attributes such as diameter, hardness and brush tip.
