Viewing Images in Lightroom Classic

Adobe Lightroom Classic

When in Grid view (G), double click an image to preview in Loupe view (or, tap “L”). Once in Loupe view, you will automatically be given the zoom tool: click in the image preview to view the images your default zoom view (most likely 1:1). While viewing at 1:1, click-drag in the image preview to pan the image, single click to return to Loupe view, or double click to return to Grid View.

You can also tap the Spacebar once to move from Grid to Loupe view, tap the Spacebar again to toggle between loupe and your default zoom percentage (most likely 1:1).

There are also icons for Grid and Loupe view at the bottom left of the preview area.

Tapping “L” is Lights Out mode. What you meant to say is to tap “E” for Loupe view.
