The wonderful folks at Texas School have invited me to give a full day seminar on Lightroom and Photoshop on Saturday April 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas TX. Here’s some more detailed descriptions of the topics I’ll be covering:
10am – 1:00pm Revitalize your workflow with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.
See how you can save time while managing your photographs from import to export – as well as everything in between. We’ll start by learning how to streamline the import process, create a simple organizational structure, and edit a shoot quickly; all using the Lightroom 4 Library module. Then, we’ll discover the key tools in the Lightroom 4 Develop module to enhance your photographs, correct color and tonal values both globally and locally, customize your color to black and white conversion, and even add special effects such as selective coloring, split toning and vintage looks if appropriate for telling your story. Then we’ll master how and when to move images to Photoshop for further enhancements and discover how to easily create slideshows, photo books, post on social media sites, and create templates for printing.
2:00 – 5:00 Photoshop Techniques for Photographers
In the afternoon session, we’ll learn how Adobe Photoshop can help you refine your images to get superior results faster than ever before. I’ll demonstrate my favorite ways to add creative techniques to enhance your photography and express your own personal style. We’ll discuss retouching techniques, textural overlays and special effects. You’ll learn how to sequence multiple images and composite photographs to create a stunning single image impossible to create in camera . Plus, learn Julieanne’s favorite shortcuts to make you more productive in both Lightroom and Photoshop.
This seminar is open to the public for $97. If you’re already registered for Texas School then you can attend the seminar for only $47!
