Not even ALLERGIES can stop CS3!
Hey there, my friends! It's been a few weeks since NAB, which means that we're further along into 'glorious springtime'; and all I can say is....Aaachooooo!! (gesundheit!)
Allergies. Blech!!! I have been sneezing my head off for weeks...and I'm literally going out of my mind. I mean, it's bad enough that the weather is so wacky everywhere, but on top of all that, the air quality is, well, not great either. As a result, I've got a runny nose, puffy eyes, and a constantly rotating supply of Visine, tissues, and Alavert added to my usual regimen of travel goodies (oh...and Twizzlers as well).
In any event, despite the allergy-hell that I'm in, there's a WHOLE BUNCH of cool stuff happening around CS3, upcoming events, and some *other* stuff that I just can't talk about (heheehehee). I'm so giddy about all the upcoming events, however, that I was actually full-on smiles yesterday. Want proof? Here's some pics...

So, here's what I can tell you so far...Three events coming up in the Netherlands--Correction (puffy eyes to blame, and thanks Jeroen for catching my mistake!)...1 Event in the Netherlands over two days; 1 event in Belgium:

Multimania! Kortrijk, Belgium. 23 May.
Masters Tour (w/Greg & Rufus) Zurich. 29 May.
Masters Tour (w/Greg & Rufus) Stuttgart. 2 June.
Masters Tour (w/Greg & Rufus) Berlin. 3 June.
Masters Tour (w/Greg & Rufus) Graz. 4 June.
Alrighty, well, that's all the time I have for, as I'm about to hop a plane. I'll keep you posted, and keep sending all the great comments. ;)

The reason i post this comment, is because of the text in this blog item, specific "Three events coming up in the Netherlands:"
I only see AVmanifestatie for two day's, not three, those puffy eyes can't see clearly :)
Belgium is not the netherlands.

Hey Jeroen. Ok, my friend...you are truly witness to the havoc that allergies and medication have wreaked upon my brain! (that, and I was feverishly typing to get the post finished before boarding the plane!) LOL. Thanks for the corrections (you'll notice I've updated the post and even linked to your URL!). Jason ... perhaps try some homeopathy (available at Whole Foods) for your allergies. Cheap, no side effects, and has made all the difference for me.
What hardware do you typically use to demo CS3?

Thanks for the tip, Ashish! At this point, I'm up for anything. All previous 'prescriptions' and current 'over the counter' things just aren't working anymore. As for CS3 Demo Hardware, I always use my MacBookPro 17". It's one of the older ones, so it's the Core-Two-Duo, 2.33GHz, 3GB Ram, 7200 200GB internal drive (modded by yours truly!). The RAM and the big drive REALLY make a big difference. Blog on! --JL

Jason, poor thing! But let me tell you - other people suffer, too. Like me for example. Just found out that I won't be able to come to the Stuttgart event, which is really a shame cause it's practically going to happen on my doorstep. And since Munich earlier this year I had already been looking forward to the next possibility to catch you guys.
Well sh*t happens, I guess.

The only benefit is that I can typically slip into a 'Barry White' voice *very* quickly; but I can usually do that anyway! LOL.
