Was It Done With a Lens, or a Brush?
Thursday's NYT covers the growing interest in high dynamic range photography (HDR). Though the field and tools are in their adolescence, HDR techniques are enabling photographers to create some unique visuals. The article quotes Photoshop engineer John Peterson, who helped bring HDR support to CS2, and whom we're keeping busy moving forward. For more examples & tutorials on HDR, see this previous entry.
