I do like pictures, I alway convert pictures to formats that I want. So I know some software that can help you to convert and print 2D and 3D model images，that is, CtrlView
- CtrlView helps you view, convert and print 2D and 3D model images, you can rotate, zoom in, zoom out and adjust color to your 3D objects, and then save it into Macromedia Flash for your website.

Very interesting stuff, John!
While I was reading this post, I couldn't help thinking that this is like an easy-to-use variation of camera mapping for everyone. As you surely know, Camera Mapping (or camera projection) is a techique film fx people have been using for years: it's about navigating a 3D scene that is constructed from a background picture or matte painting. But it's much, much harder to do than what I saw in the Sketch Up video :)
I always find it very interesting when something that's been around in high-end environments becomes easy to use and affordable in every sense for anybody to use.
All the best,
Adolfo
[Oh yes--commodification of what was previously rare/expensive/esoteric is a good & natural process. Of course, it keeps us on our toes as other people add healing, Shadow/Hightlight, etc.--as well it should! --J.]
