Weekend photography
- I find most photogs' Web sites pretty underwhelming (hey, you can't be good at everything), but Philip Toledano scores: beautiful HTML complements a hell of a portfolio. Mr. Toledano Will See You Now. And I can see those fighter planes... [Via]

- In "LIFE: A Journey Through Time," photographer Frans Lanting depicts the evolution of Earth & its life forms. [Via]
- CNET is hosting concept art that depicts a spinning tower in Dubai. Interesting that the concept artist snuck that famous Joan Munkacsi photo into the design.
- Mark Brautigam finds beauty in the everyday in his On Wisconsin project. [Via] The portfolio makes me think of the Sufjan Stevens record Illinoise I've been spinning lately, and of this photo of him from Joe Lencioni. Represent for the Mid'Wess...
- UCLA has digitized more than 5,000 images from LA newspapers archives, 1920-1990. Boing Boing links to a number of interesting finds. Viva shag carpeted vans.

This is all good and well. But, most of it has been available online from other sources. Where's the Adobe content? That's what we need!
[A lot of people seem to enjoy the links and request more of them. Like me, they draw inspiration from the creative work others are doing. If you don't find the links interesting, please skip them. (I don't know why I tend to fixate on comments like this, forgetting about the positive ones.) --J.]
I totally disagree with mr. Lee. I'm one of those who really appreciate your links. We can find Adobe content all over the internet. It's far more interesting how to use Adobe software than how to find out how it works.
p.s The photographs of Mr. Toledano were very inspirational indeed. So thank you John.

Yea keep 'em comin' John! I agree with Rudi & others - enjoy the posts. I think often times we lose the the "photo" in photography. For those looking for just adobe stuff www.adobe.com seems to have lots.
Met a Wedding Photographer in Cornwall and got talking about using adobe, both agreed that adobe software for photography is great, specifically for editing!
