Hand-colored film from 1899

Jason Kottke writes, "Each frame of this 19th century film by the Lumière brothers was hand-colored to create an early color moving picture."

It would be fun to try something similar using video layers in Photoshop Extended.

Photoshop with multi core processors. I read the 2006 blurb about this and wonder what gives today with Snow Leopard etc. Is 4 cores at 2.93 Ghz faster than 8 cores at 2.26? Does PS take advantage of Grand Central DIspatch in the new os?
