Blistering benchmarks for CS5 video apps
From Tom’s Hardware:
After Effects: ” What took more than 44 minutes to finish in CS4 drops to a little more than one minute in CS5.”
Premiere Pro: “A combination of shifting to a 64-bit environment and utilizing Nvidia’s Quadro FX 3800 drops a 3:40 render (in CS4) down to 19 seconds (in CS5).”
Nice. Read on for details. [Via]

I have the Quadro FX3800 and like it. Except that it has issues that they don’t seem to be getting worked out with the drivers. Freaky system lockups so bad I have to turn the power off and then back on. My computer will not shut down and the like. For the cost of this thing I would have hoped for better. I think the hardware is all where its at. But, the drivers just like every other video card maker leaves a lot be desired.
