Video: More excellent Shuttle launch/return footage

Clearly I will never tire of this stuff. Onboard cameras capture the journey of shuttle Atlantis into space, plus the return of the solid rocket boosters:

This reminds me of a space shuttle simulation program that I had back in the 90’s. I wish I remember what it was called.

Of course this feed looks soooo much better than what my 386SX could create. :)

Thanks, John. I guess I’m a space shuttle junkie like you. Wish I could have been part of the program and went on one, just once.

Fascinating stuff. Hard to believe that before there were computers in the newsroom of “Today” newspaper, now “Florida Today” at Cocoa, Fla., I covered Apollo 14, 15, and 16 from KSC and Houston.
