Speaking of pissed of web designers...

I just started my new web design class in my last quarter at SCAD. I hadn't done any web stuff in about a year (and was grateful for the break). Right this second I'm having problems. All I had to do was make a simple table with some text in each cell. I uploaded it fine, no problems. Then I decided to make it a little fancy and indent the last few rows of text. It looked fine in Dreamweaver, I uploaded it to my site and now the table cells are three times taller than they used to be. I then outdented the text back to where it was to try to move it back to where it was. No deal, the rows were still huge. I then looked at the code and I saw there were tags everywhere in those cells. After deleting the tags, it now looks the way it was originally. I don't know how to do something as simple as indent text in the cell of a table!

Seriously, what a pain in the ass. I want to design, not troubleshoot code. I'm glad to know you're trying to fix this John.

[Thanks, but note that I've been trying for 10 years, so you might want to get a snack while you wait. ;-) --J.]

Also, part of my class is to purchase a domain name and server space. Do any of you recommend a good, reputable ISP service?

[I've been happy with Media Temple. Squarespace also looks pretty cool. --J.]

John,

Let me dream....humm......I saw a 3D printer, about 5k. It makes what is sees from a cad program.

It renders in a plastic model.....hummm....of course, planned "easy-ism" can be Adobe's enemy. Sell more, but skill levels go down, and so does the comp.

I guess, If I could design on a wacomm.....then dreamweaver interpret and rendered it....well, love to dream. Then numb nuts is home, or at least to 2nd base.

I mean if it was for the license cults, 20% of medical treatments could be done an RN

Well, that's my spin
