How can I crank up the export 3D mesh beyond "high"? My repoussé 3D models aren't high enough resolution. I need a denser mesh.

[Zorana replies, "In the Repoussé dialog, you have the option to set your Mesh Quality to “Best” - this will give you denser mesh. This is important especially if you have curved surface (inflate), twists and bends – not necessary for straight extrusions. This does slow things down in the dialog so best to do it at the end before you OK out of the dialog. With this, you can then render at Final RayTracer Quality (from the 3D scene panel) and you should see better resolution. For better surface quality (pixel smoothness), use paths instead of selections also. Beyond these tips, there isn’t a way to increase density of mesh." --J.]

The only thing I couldn't figure out on my own from just playing was knocking out internal holes in the type. Shouldn't that be more obvious/automatic?
Also, why can we not make editable vector objects 3D? Illustrator does.
