Origami sculptures transform in water

Etienne Cliquet’s fascinating “Flottille” micro-origami sculptures are 2-3 centimeters long and open based on capillary action.

    Very nice!

    I had forwarded this link to a colleague who is into origami. He mentioned this this was more in line with ‘kirigami’, since origami did not involve cutting paper. Anyway, I learnt something new and thought I’d pass it on!
