Video: Skaters on fire

Is it pyrotechnics, or is it Memorex? Hard to say, maybe, but I like the effect:

The filmmakers have posted a behind-the-scenes feature for the subsequent video in the series. I highly applaud their use of “FM.” [Via]

    Hi John,

    Seeing as the Visual Effects guys were on the second page of the credits, and there was no Special Effects credits, I’d say it was all CG.

    [Yes, but look at the comments (search for "fire"), at the second video where snowboarders are clearly set alight. --J.]

    Nicely done, they’ve got some nice weight and detail to the flame when the guys land a jump, the smoke is pretty bad though.
