Schlüpfer translates to “panties”. Not sure why she has it as “schlüpper” in big letters – maybe slang.

She has it correctly written along the top:

Hast du einen Schlüpfer für Emma gekauft? Emma ist 12.

= Have you bought panties for Emma? Emma is 12.

This is really more than I want to know about panty shopping but, I have to say, her illustrations are amazing.

  It’s a colloquial form common to many regions in Germany, so it fits… (like the briefs themselves, hopefully). ;-)
