    This is just what I needed to see about CS5extended.

    However I can’t quickly fix the resulting color shift because the exported Quicktime file appears to not use the document’s profile …

    I tried this using CS6 beta. It worked perfectly!

    The first time I did it, I used 3:2 images and rendered to HDTV 1920:1080. There were black bars at the left and right. Also the contrast was too high.
    The second time I created an action to crop and resize all the images to 1920:1080, do a curves correction, and change the color profile to sRGB.
    The result was much better.
