I think the nikon 1 is cool. FOr the size and the video feature you can’t beat it. Lots of peoplei’ve talked to think it will dominate in the market. Wonder what Canon is going to do to match though

Sure, but it’s like the choice between spending five grand on a cruise or spending it on a divorce. The cruise is over in a week, but the divorce is something you’ll have forever.

What I do for a carry about manual is download the PDF to my phone from the Nikon site.

Using it isn’t the fastest, but that way I can hopefully locate something I need to know.

Somewhat tangential, but let it be noted that the 5D Mark II added Auto ISO as a feature, and it's sure to be on the upcoming Mark III as well. [Let it also be noted that the Mark II (or III) would cost as much as my trip. ;-) --J.] --J.]
