lightroom 4.1 final My web galleries always fail to upload. So much time wasted…. Is this a temp known problem .Used to happen occasionally have tried passive Non passive etc. Please help

I use to publish a lot of my photos to flickr directly from 4.0. In 4.1 I get an error message. I tried it with facebook and get the same error.

I did notice that the sharping is disabled when going to the developing module.

I had no choice but to upgrade because of my Canon 5D Mark III.

LR 4.1 won’t upload my web galleries anymore. I have to ‘export’ and then do an ftp to my ISP for it to work.

I don’t want to go through customer service, because I don’t like getting thrown halfway around the world and long calls.

Is Adobe aware of this?

And if Canon supported natively the DNG format, you would have been able to open its files even in Lightroom 1 without conversion, as all Pentax, Leica, Ricoh and Hasselblad shooters can when they output their files as DNG. Ask your camera manufacturer to support DNG, as they already support Adobe’s Tiff.

Bill, you can use the DNG converter 6.7 on a folder of CR2 files, and you’ll be able to open them in Lightroom 3.6

That’s indeed a very special adobe concept. They use it in a lot of their software.
For example non ergonomic work interface design where slideres and dialogue boxes are out of focus of the subject you’re working on and slider not reacting on mouse wheel input, etc. etc.

That is the problem with software development. The creator looses insight on what is inporant to the user who actually works every day in to day out with the software.

This is bitter, and no matter how often i requested things, i was battered down by their arrogance and vanity, to just shut up.

How about support for the Canon 5D Mark III for us poor souls who have to migrate from Win XP to Win 7 in order to use Lightroom 4.1? It’s one thing not to support Win XP (quite understandable, in fact), but quite another not to give us at least a brief period of support for new cameras in 3.6. I’ll be an unhappy camper if I can’t open .cr2 files from my new Mark III.

great no they have fuked up the preview.

to make it look faster they have disabled the sharpening when you move the sliders in the develop module.

no you have to go off the sliders, after you moved them, with your mouse to see the sharpening.

well that is what i call a cheap bugfix.

Hello. I'm a LR 4 user, only a question: why on Labs and not an update? Thanks. [Being on Labs indicates that it's a test version, not the final 4.1 release. If you don't have an urgent need for it, you may well want to wait for the "real" 4.1 update to arrive. --J.]
