Join the Camera Raw/Lightroom engineering team

Camera Raw—the engine featured in both Lightroom & Photoshop—is the definitive raw-image processing pipeline for professionals. Now there’s a unique opportunity for a badass imaging engineer to join the team. Check out more details here.

[Cynically I sometimes think, "Eh, who reads this damn blog anyway?" But last time I posted something like this, genius Eric Chan saw it, and he's the reason ACR/LR feature killer noise reduction & many other things. --J.]

Apparently Apple are also advertising for jobs on the Aperture team – a long overdue sign to Aperture users that the product is still being developed! See http://www.wadelaube.com/blog/aperture-4/

This sounds like a dream job. I am a huge fan of ACR, not only because it does a fantastic job of enhancing photos, but even more because it has one of the most brilliant user interfaces I’ve ever seen in any product. ACR makes doxens of complex tools easily usable by even a novice, in a day when many consumer products are so complex that they take a long time to learn.

I sure wish I had seen the notice for this job back in 1969 when I graduated with a BSEE and before I turned to the dark side by going to law school.
