Is it to avoid taking too much space or a performance issue, or something that was hard to do for whatever reason?

I would have love to have an option in preference for “retina in Loupe” even if doubled my cache size or if I had to resync my previous album to take effect.

Anyway, just curious, retina in Develop is already good.
